I think the most important information is:
- What are the prerequisites for the installation
- How to start the installation
- Where to find more information.
So lets try again:
"Installationsvoraussetzungen: mind. 12MB Arbeitsspeicher und 100MB
freier Festplattenplatz (in einer eigenen Partition oder im
unpartitionierten Bereich einer Festplatte). Möglichkeiten zum Start
der Installation: Booten mit dieser CDROM, Start von DOS aus (Befehl
boot im Verzeichnis /install), Start von Windows über die
Autorun-Funktion oder Erstellung von Bootdisketten. Deutschsprachige
Informationen befinden sich im Verzeichnis /install/doc/de."
It would be nice to use some typewriter font for "boot", /install
etc.

Yes, the are (I have burned a first test-CD yesterday and verified
it). The name of Eduards programm is start.exe, it lifes in
/install/winstart. But usually this information is not needed, since
the user can just click on the CD-Icon in the explorer or, if the
autostart-feature is enabled, the program will start automaticly.
