They're ugly, I know that, no need to conceal that.

Would we be allowed to?

It would have a printing problem, which is the main reason I
didn't even start to think about it. It's best when there are
no shades and no mixed colours on a t-shirt when it should be
printed.

Shades and gradients are possible, but only with different
printing techniques and they're more likely to get weared away.

In that case I'd even say that it should not contain the swirl but
only the artwork and the web address.
