The intention (at least from me when I started the discussion) was to
provide some technical tracks for developers, debian developers, wannabe
(debian) developers and interested users. This is the same scope as for
DebCon#1 that takes place a couple of days before. I acknowledge that
many people will attend LinuxTag but not DebCon so providing a tech
conference like thing seems to be useful (at least for me).
For users and beginners, I'm sure, talks in the main conference program
are better suited. Apart from that, we will only have a small room for
about 50 people while the main conference tracks will have rooms for up
to 1000 people.
Regards,
Joey
