So? Why not show us "ls -l /boot/System.map-*"? And tell us how you
install your kernels?

It's not clear that this is a problem in sysklog. I'd tell you to
contact your distributor, but if "lfs" means "linux from scratch", I
guess it is indeed your responsibility :-P.
