Hi all, Hi Joey!
I wanted to you use cgilib (installed via Debian), however the resulting
program SEGFAULTed.
So I cloned the repo and tried to build it, but found, that the
Autotools setup is too old
and doesn't work anymore so I fixed this first.
The patches for that are attached, but maybe you prefer to pull from
this repo instead:
https://gitlab.mn.tu-dresden.de/josc941e/cgilib
That would make it easier for further collaboration.
How should I handle AUTHORS, ChangeLog, Copyrights, etc. ?
I've already figured put some bugs, but I don't know how deep my changes
can be
so that you still accept them. The files contain a mix of tabs and
spaces for indenting,
can I change that? Also I would want to change some datatypes. How
important is
API/ABI stability?
I would like to improve readability, do you care about the variable
names? Are they
documented somewhere? It would be nice if I could change quite a bit,
but I want you
to still accept the changes and I don't want to overwhelm you which patches.
Kind regards
Jonathan Schöbel
