IMHO this is a perfect candidate for a wider announcement. d-d-a comes
to my mind, following recent examples [1,2].

Alternatively, and especially because you also invite non-DDs (which is
really cool too!), you might want to have a news item published. In
that case just send a draft to -publicity, which I'm Cc:-ing. Since the
BSP is very close by now, and since a news item might require some round
trips, d-d-a might be a better candidate ... YMMV.
Maybe you should mention in the announcement (where you post it) that
people can participate remotely on #debian-bugs or the like.
