  im Eingangsbereich der Columbiahalle wird es einige Staende
  geben (Informatikjahr, Freifunk, Wikipedia, Lehmanns ...).
  Ihr seid sehr willkommen, Euch dazu zu gesellen.

  Die Konferenz ist single-track tagsüber im Club, aber die Workshops sind in
  der Halle im 1. Stock. D.h. es gibt den ganzen Tag Verkehr im Standbereich.

  Und am Samstag nachmittag findet in der Halle die "Show des Freien
  Wissens" statt, die sich an ein jugendliches, neugieriges aber noch
  nicht eingeweihtes Publikum richtet, auf Deutsch und separat von der
  Konferenz. Insbesondere die gleich mit der richtigen Distro in Berührung
  zu bringen waere praechtig. Wir haben auch ein paar hunder Ubuntu CDs
  bestellt. Klar ist das Arbeit, aber ich denke, sie lohnt sich.

  Was müssen die Debianer dafür tun? 1.) Lernen, dass das "OS" in WOS
  nicht für "Open Source", sondern für "Operating Systems" steht ,-)
  2.) Bea bescheid geben: b.groschupf@wizards-of-os.org

in english (roughly):

  the entrance hall (of the columbia hall) will have some booths
  (year of computer science, freifunk [project for free wlan access],
   wikipedia, lehmanns [bookstore]). you are very welcome to join!

  the conference has only one track at daytime in the club
  but the workshops are in the hall on the first floor.
  [that's one floor above "ground floor", ok?! ;-)]
  so there should be people circulating at the booths.

  on saturday afternoon at the hall will be the "free knowledge show",
  which targets curious, uninitiated youths, seperately from the
  conference - and in german. we would like to get them in touch
  with the "right (politically correct, usable) distribution".
  we have ordered a few hundred Ubuntu CDs.
  it's quite some work - but i think it is worth it.

  what should the debian folk do? 1) learn that "OS" in "WOS"
  stands for "Operating Systems" (and *not* "Open Source").
  2) contact Bea: b.groschupf@wizards-of-os.org
