IT-Linux Days (Loerrach/Germany)

Hi all,

the most important at first: everything is organised, now booth-people
are wanted.

1. Booth

Size: 6m x 2m
Position: aside from Gentoo :)

Chairs and tables are assigned from the staff, one Itanium Workstation
is provieded by HP, 3 i386 machines are supplied from the Loerrach LUG.
I will bring the Debian (i386/hurd) mirror.

I thouhg we would show KDE, GNOME and Hurd on the intel machines, and
Babelbox on the Itanium.

At least while the weekend, a beamer will be there too, so we can do
some eye-catching things.

2. Merchandising/Give-away stuff

Unfortunately there is not so much merchandising stuff left. We will
have 2 or 4 tshirts :) , some flyers, enough keychaines, maybe some
LinuxTag DVDs and maybe some Cebit-DVDs.

Since we have a debian jigdo mirror, it is easy to burn current debian
install cds on the fly (for i386), so we could 'sell' them too.

Some other people did show interest, but not definitely.

Please consider to come and help, we want to make real what Sun and Suse
  couldn't: Have a boot at Cebit and IT-Linux Days at the same time ;)

4.5 Accomodation

I am very happy to say that a member of the LUG Loerrach has offered 3-5
places for sleeping/showering/breakfast'ing. There is also the
possibility of an Youth Hostel in town(9eur/night).

5. Missing things

If anyone has some poster/decoration stuff left.. that would be great.
