Bug squashing in Darmstadt, August 20th to 22nd

In addition to next Debian-wide BSPs[1], a real-life hacking meeting and
BSP will take place in Darmstadt on the weekend of August 20th to 22nd.

Objectives:
===========

The focus of this event will be to close as many RC-bugs as possible.
Steve Langasek announced Sarge base to be frozen on 31st of July[2], so
we will focus on packages outside of base.

BSP coordinator Frank Lichtenheld will be attending the meeting, as well
as Debian QA member Andreas Barth.

Attendance:
===========

In addition to the local Debian crowd, we invite other Debian people
from all over Germany and Europe to join us in Darmstadt. Please let us
know if you want to attend the meeting, so we can plan ahead a bit.

Location:
=========

The meeting will take place at Department of Numerical Methods in
Mechanical Engineering (FNB) at the Technical University of Darmstadt.
The building is located on Campus "Lichtwiese" at Petersenstraße 30.

How to get there:
=================

By car: Finding a parking spot should be very easy as there are lots of
parking places around there. Coming from west of Darmstadt (A5/A67)
follow signs to TU Lichtwiese on B26. It's the building with a huge
red gearwheel in front of it.

By train/bus: After arriving on Darmstadt main station take bus K
heading towards TU Lichtwiese. The K bus normally runs in 15 minute
intervals. After exiting at Lichtwiese, walk across the large lawn
towards the building directly opposite the bus stop. A large, red
gearwheel marks the front entrance of the mechanical engineering
building.

Accomodation:
=============

People from outside Darmstadt are invited to sleep at Martin
Zobel-Helas's place which is about 5 minutes from Department of
Numerical Methods in Mechanical Engineering by car. There should be
place for about 6-8 persons. Additional accomodation can be organized.
You should bring sleeping bags or bedrolls with you, as no beds are
avaiable there. However, a shower and toilet are present of course.

Equipment:
==========

Network connection is excellent. A full ftp.debian.org mirror
(linux.mathematik.tu-darmstadt.de) is inside the university network
and a partial mirror (i386+source) is onside. For people without their
own hardware, computers will be available for the duration of the
meeting. Please contact Martin Zobel-Helas in advance if you need a
computer.
