Well, we already decided to use the open logo swirl in conjunction with
the official logo vase (or whatever that is), and that's what is on the
.jpg. I'm not sure whether the swirl is all you want to have on it or
whether you just want to exchange the swirls.
The rationale for also using the vase was that this is 'official
booth-wear' so it should have the official logo to dinstinguish the
booth personell from the other people wearing black Debian polo shirts.
As long as it does not include that hideous swirl from the 'official
official logo', I'm alright with having a vase and 'Debian' in there,
too.

PS: I agree with you in so far as if I'd were to make a Debian shirt
just for myself, it would just have a swirl on it, nothing else.
