Hi all,
Debian will have a shared developers' room at the next FOSDEM. For those
not familiar with the system: a developers' room is a room at the site
of the event given to a particular group, where usually non-official
schedules are organized by that group.
Since the organizers had only one room left and two groups to give it
to, our DevRoom is shared with the Free Java folks, and we decided to
mix and match the talks from both groups to arrange for a common
schedule, rather than to split the available time in two and manage it
each on our own.
With that out of the way, I'm now looking for people interested in
giving a presentation about a Debian-related subject in our DevRoom.
Given the above, it would be nice if we could have some talks that would
be of interest to both Debian and Free Java-folks (and there will
already be a talk by Arnaud Vandyck about Java Packaging for Debian,
IIUC), but this is certainly not required.
Interested people should send a summary of what they want to talk about
to me (that's wouter@grep.be or wouter@debian.org, depending on your
preference) with this mailinglist Cc'ed, including any time or other
restrictions for those that are not available for the entirety of
FOSDEM, so that we can plan it in.
Feel free to forward this mail to any relevant people, lists or forums.
TIA,
