There are packages which contain a dozen games, so I estimate the total number
to be > 500 (498 packages in sid, plus multiples, minus servers, data, ...).
There are also edutainment applications, which probably fit into the same
category from a lawyer's point of view.
So games occur not only in /usr/games, but also /usr/bin and /usr/lib/*.

I have asked around and quite a few games people are interested in a
discussion about the topic, about 45 or 90 minutes.
Would this be appropriate for a workshop slot?
(Using "Freie Spiel- und Lernsoftware und der Jugendschutz" or a similar
topic.)
