Good morning,
some good news for the LWE in Frankfurt end of october. First we found
with Nik Buter an additional volunteer.
There is a so called "Info Bühne" (seen on the left of the map). Don't
know, what this is, they tell on their page:
"Don't care of newbee or professional, the show an informationstage
presents a thrilling mix of companies presentation, practical oriented
examples and amusement - infotainment pure." [rough translated by me]
Well, that sounds like a good place for a free speech or presentation
(note that the map shows no seats before this stage, but another
booth). So if someone has a good idea (show how easy it is to install
debian?) ore something else, I can ask them.
They want to publish the program for this stage in september, so we
should be quick.
Finaly I just want to tell you, that I try to solve the beamer problem.
I found a church organisation, of which was told to me, they rent
beamers and such stuff. Allthough I'm an atheist I will ask them ;)
Hmmm, while surfing through their website I found information of the
equipment of their boothes. A paied 12m² booth gets more equipment than
a 6m² booth in the .org pavilion. We are in the .org pavilion, but we
get a 12m² booth, too. So I'm not sure, how our booth will be
equiped... wondering if it is impertinent to ask?
