Hi
Now it is build, the final image.
I cant believe it, it was the first time without any confusing message
or big manual changes. Could be that my hook-script was fixed, i
changed a lot there. :)
That is the Image grisu will use for the CD. Only if he finds some big
stupid error in his last test (I hope he does one) i do another run.
But i hope that this is as error-free as I can get it.
Here is the changelog:
2002-05-21 Joerg Jaspert <joerg@debian.org>
* Hacked: base-config again. Now I let it create /usr/man/man1
so the install of xemacs21 does not fail.
:: I dont know if it is a bug in xemacs or update-alternatives. But the
:: trivial fix for now is: Just be sure that the /usr/man/man1 is
:: there. So i done that.
* Added-Packages: pcmcia-modules-2.4.18-bf2.4
* Added Debian Maintenance Howto.
* debian-user-german FAQ updated wit a copy supplied from the
Author.
2002-05-20 Joerg Jaspert <joerg@debian.org>
* German Boot-Floppies documentation is there. YEAH.
BUT: NO Release Notes ! They are broken and we dont release
with this CD, so not really needed.
* Changed debian.html to have a link to that. Also changed a
question/answer in the FAQ (about debconf).
* Added: German boot-floppies Documentation. Killed English Docs.
Ok, rsync is running. And i cant believe it: It is finished after
20minutes!
So you see there are no big changes between V3 and Final. :)
Still NO jigdo, but use rsync on the image:
Just copy the old one to the name of the new one, then run rsync on it.
Commands should be something like (rsync is one line !):
mv woody-i386-1_NONUS_v3.raw woody-i386-1_NONUS_final.raw
rsync --progress
source.rfc822.org::pub/pub/people/joerg/lt2002/images/woody-i386-1_NONUS_final.raw
woody-i386-1_NONUS_final.raw
That two commands should be enough. Check the md5sum with md5sum IMAGE
and look into the MD5SUMS at
http://source.rfc822.org/pub/people/joerg/lt2002/images/MD5SUMS
if it matches.
