News about the beamer: I'll get it for LinuxTag! The model is "geha
compact 520" (german only info on
http://www.geha.de/deutsch/seiten/dv_c520_text_tec.html). In 3 meters
distance the size of the projection is between 1.2 x 0.9 m and 1.6 x
1.2 m (zoomable). The physical resolution is 800x600, other
resolutions are interpolated (even larger resolutions). It is possible
to connect the beamer to the ceiling, however the documentation just
talks about a special connection kit[1] but I haven't found a trace of
such a thing in the net... I'll check the bottom of the beamer
sometime this week to see if we could improvise something. Otherwise,
we'd have to build some kind of platform.
