In principle they can do what they want with this source.
You can invent a number of reasonable desires, and if they
are friendly they'll do what you ask.
For example, perhaps some of the translators would like
a free copy of the book.
If you are lucky you can make them do some useful work
by letting a proofreader check the German text.
There are many minor misprints and typos, and this may be
a way to get a lot of corrections for free.
