1. Advertising

In order to be most helpful for the community it is always helpful
and a good idea if you are advertising your presence at the
upcoming LinuxTag as well. There should be several LinuxTag logos
([1]yellow and [2]blue I know of at least) that could be used if
you want to link from a logo to the main page.

2. Booth Planning

Since the date of LinuxTag gets closer each day, it also becomes
more important for me to be able to assign booths for the projects
and finalise the exhibition map more or less. In order to do this,
I need appropriate input on what you plan to do with and at the
booth. Most important for me is what kind of equipment are you
planning to use, how much space it needs, and how many project
members will likely staff the booth daily.

Hence, please add all the current plans for your booth as comments
to the projects [3]interface and also add missing booth staff
members. From the list of booth staff I will also compile the
   number of exhibitor tickets later.

There are some projects that don't have a booth assigned yet and
also not entered any information about their plan for LinuxTag. I
cannot calculate the required booth size reliable. I'm not even
   sure I can grant a project a booth if I don't see a motion.

The projects frontend is the only location for such comments and
plans which ensures that I won't miss them when I do the
calculation and assignments. You may also send me your ideas via
mail, though, if that's more convenient for you. I'll convert them
   into comments upon reception, though.

3. Posters

Please prepare large posters (A1 or A0) to be put on the walls of
your booth so that visitors understand what the booth and the
particular machine in front of them is all about. Please also see
the [4]FAQ item. You can use adhesive tape to fix the posters on
   the walls.

   4. http://www.infodrom.org/Debian/events/LinuxTag2004/faq.html#poster

If you plan to demonstrate fancy hardware on the booth, it is very
helpful if you would describe this particular piece of hardware in
a poster, so that visitors recognise its value or that it is
   extraordinary.

4. Exhibitors Passes

You'll need either normal entrance tickets or exhibitor passes for
entering the show. You can get exhibitor passes on Monday and
Tuesday from Joey at the LinuxTag office. You can get enough
exhibitor passes for the entire project (size calculated from the
number of people you've added as booth staff) if you manage your
   project's presence.

However, since our office is behind the entrance, this won't work
the same way when the show is going on. If you only arrive after
LinuxTag has already started, you'll have to either get a normal
entrance ticket or ask your collegues to provide you with an
   exhibitor pass from the inside.

You can [5]register yourself at no cost for LinuxTag. You'll be
   sent account information via mail.

5. Booth Furniture

We will provide conference tables (130cm wide, 65cm deep and 75cm
high) and conference chairs for the projects booths. You can build
nicer booths if you use white table clothes (paper should even be
sufficient) which will enhance the visitors' impression. Joey has
some of these, but you'll have to register them before the show so
that he'll take enough with him.

We usually rent some additional equipment from the Kaiserslautern
University named [6]KIT. This system builds up into a couple of
presentation desks on which you can put one monitor or a laptop.
Things must not be too heavy, though. For pictures you'll have to
scan through the booth pictures from past years. We've got three
types for these desks. You can apply for these as well, assignments
will probably be made directly before the show.

Please see the [7]FAQ as well.

6. Party

On Thursday, June 24th, the local user group will organise their
famous [8]KaLUG party at the AKK. Most projects booth personnel,
and many people from the community will attend. Food and fluids
will be served at cost. You surely shouldn't miss this.
