Dear friends,

JEF-Europe and JEF Frankfurt am Main are pleased to invite you to
participate in the international seminar ”Putting the Euro into
Action Options for European Youth”, to be held in Frankfurt am Main, the
E-city, during the first week of introduction of the Euro coins and bills,
from December 27 to January 3.

The seminar will provide the participants with a general overview of the
issue "Euro" through various lectures, several visits and exchanges of
experiences and ideas about our single currency. They will discuss how the
Euro is being accepted in each country and last but not least develop new
strategies for actions back home to ensure the acceptance of the Euro in
their respective countries. The first of these symbolical actions will take
place during the seminar itself. The seminar will have as its highlight a
major media event on the eve of the "Euro-day": the European New Year’s
Eve, featuring the first Mix of all E-coins.

The participation fee is 100 Euro, to be paid on the spot (195,- DM). It
includes the accommodation and all the meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner)
from the evening of Thursday December 27th to the morning of Thursday
January 3rd and participation in the European New Year’s Eve. A travel
reimbursement is provided, up to a maximum of 200 Euro, to cover 70% of a
second-class return train ticket or of an economy class flight ticket.
Reimbursement will be given on the spot at the end of the seminar (in the
evening on Wednesday January 2nd to participants who attended ALL the
