Sorry, but this has two negative impacts:
1. tty becomes the controlling terminal (see #108653)
2. Also files can get full, and syslogd should never, never get stuck,
because this blocks e.g. root logins needed to fix this problem.

Perhaps you can tell me what the disadvantage of my fix would be.
