The sixth international conference of developers and users of free
software Linux Vacation / Eastern Europe will be carried out on July
1-4, 2010 on the territory of the “Chemist” tourist camp in the Grodno
region. Reception of reports and applications for participation is
opened, sponsors are invited to cooperation. See details on the site
http://lvee.org

The annual conference of developers and users of free software taking
place in Belarus invariably gathers specialists in this area from
Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, the European Union countries.

In the format of Linux Vacation / Eastern Europe the professional
exchange of experience is combined with three-day informal dialogue on
the nature. Working on voluntary basis, the organisation committee
carries out selection of reports and forms the conference program,
providing its high professional level. The format includes reports,
short performances, workshops, round tables. The spectrum of topics
represented at the conference is traditionally wide — from a story about
new free technologies, software products and experience of their
introduction to the analysis of legal and economic aspects of free
licensing.

For participation in LVEE 2010 it is necessary to be registered on the
conference site http://lvee.org. More detailed data about the conference
is available at the same address and concerns the following: history of
the project, requirements to abstracts, information on delivery and
accomodation of participants, materials of last conferences.

Applications for participation are accepted till June 12, abstracts of
reports – till May 24.

Also the organisation committee invites sponsors to participate. The
event is traditionally supported by the IT companies interested in
cooperation with qualified specialists in the field of free software and
also by the companies interested in support of free software as socially
significant phenomenon. Participation in LVEE-2010 gives them exclusive
possibility to work directly with the audience consisting of the most
active developers and users of free software.

By the current moment such companies as Sam Solutions, Promwad, “Local
networks”, and IT Bel (IT Director) journal have already announced their
support of LVEE-2010.
